Dry product obtained by grinding the ripe, healthy and clean fruits of Capsicum annum or Capsicum longum peppers; or part thereof. The types can be distinguished: sweet, bittersweet and spicy. There are “smoked1” varieties obtained during the drying process. When it is coarsely ground (scaly appearance), it is usually called “paprika leaf”. We only sell paprika made in Spain with peppers from Spain and/or Peru and/or China.

Spicy. It is used mostly in pork products such as sobrassada, chorizo and chistorra, as well as being one of the outstanding ingredients when it comes to marinating fish and meat. In the past, it was such an essential condiment that it came to be called “red gold”.
